EXPERIENCE MANAGER The complexity of the "Experience Equation" (The Music, The Physical, And The Intangible) demands the presence of a "Master of Ceremony" in the Me Cancun by Melia. This special individual understands the vision and is capable of masterfully orchestrating the factors above. Some define it the "Director of Culture", others the "Brand Ambassador", we call it the "Experience Manager". The "Experience Manager" is responsible for contacting guests prior to arrival to ensure that their stay will be stress and effort-free and caters to guests every whim for the duration of their stay. Conducts a daily walk-through to build rapport, assesses guest satisfaction, develops relationships and promotes repeat guest business. Evaluates and adjusts overall guest experiences, listens to comments, criticism and feedback, based on interaction with guests in lobby, bar, and public areas, to gain an understanding of strength and opportunity to improve personal/hotel performance. Resolves and responds proactively to any guest needs that have arisen and is always looking to fulfill guest's expectations. Inspects public areas a minimum of 3 times per day monitoring music, video, temperature, lighting, and scents. Makes alterations as needed, also inspects the product (rooms, outlets, amenities) to ensure adherence to standards. Reviews and develops guest history records to enhance personalized service for repeat guests. Coordinates daily VIP requirements, including list distribution, room inspections, amenity placement, welcome letters, gifts, guest escorts and more.
